On the edge of Dulwich Park by College Gate stands the old Victorian Park keeper's Lodge, the home of Santa's Grotto Dulwich in London

Is this the best Santa's grotto in London? A Magical 'Gingerbread House' where each December Father Christmas and his Elves climb down the chimney and entertain children with their Winter Wonderland Experience.

Every year Father Christmas and his Elves help Whippersnappers raise money to support their inclusive activities for children and adults with disabilities throughout the year and to maintain Whippersnappers inclusive community arts center in Dulwich Park.

About the Whippersnappers organisation

Whippersnappers were founded in 1994 when professional actress Caroline Burghard teamed up with Kirk Service a reknowed R&B and Reggae artist. For the past 18 years we have been based in the Brockwell Lido building in Brockwell Park, Brixton. In April 2011 we opened our second site: College lodge in Dulwich Park. We successfully raised £250,000 to convert this listed park-keeper's Lodge into a fully accessible and inclusive Community Arts Centre.

Whippersnappers began delivering music classes for underfives, and in 1997 created their own style of music known as "Pickny Beat" Over the years we have diversified and now provide music, theatre, art and sport for people of all ages, needs and backgrounds. We are a vibrant multicultural company with over 30 staff working closely as a cohesive team. We are proud to be a Community Interest Company, investing all our profits back into our work and remaining driven by our social aims and objectives.

Whippersnappers are a not for profit organisation. Our Winter wonderland is an annual fundraising event which raises money to maintain our inclusive community arts centre in Dulwich Park and to run inclusive activities for children and adults with disabilities.

Whippersnappers are an inclusive organisation and do operate a time banking skills exchange scheme designed for families and individuals who may not have sufficient funds to access our services. If you would like to find out more about time banking options please do feel free to contact

Visit Santa's Grotto in Dulwich Park and enjoy Whippersnappers Winter Wonderland. This is a 2019 Christmas fundraising event organised and managed by Whippersnappers.

Whippersnappers are a not-for-profit organisation and the money raised is used to support our inclusive activities for children and adults with disabilities throughout the year and to maintain our inclusive community arts center in Dulwich Park.

With your support, the success of our Winter Wonderland 2018 allowed us to increase the hourly rate of our Winter Wonderland staff wages to reflect their London living costs as well as supporting the delivery of our specialist activities.
